National Walking Month and Walk to School Week

Published: 2024-05-20

Walk to School Week is a 5-day challenge that takes place annually nationwide and is designed to help children reach their minimum 60 minutes of exercise per day. The Walk to School Week theme this year is "The Magic of Walking". This year's challenge encourages children to travel actively to school every day of the week. Meeting various magical beings along the way, they will learn about the important reasons to walk or wheel and its benefits for individuals, communities and the planet!
