How can my school get involved? Even though the main focus of the campaign it to get people moving in the workplace, it is more important than ever to engage young people in healthy, active lifestyles. Here are a few ideas to try out at school:

• Run a lunchtime fitness session

• Sound an alarm at random times throughout the day which is a signal for everyone to stand up and move for a minute

• Take regular breaks during the day to stand up and stretch

• Agree that everyone must stand up to speak during lessons

• Take a well-being walk

• Run a step challenge competition for the day

• Plan practical lessons outside for different subjects

• Keep an ‘On Your Feet’ diary for the day/week to see how much activity they have done

• Join live activities during ‘On Your Feet Britain Day’ keep an eye on our e-shots and social media feeds for information
