Publication of draft updated RSHE guidance – Media info on 15th May 2024

The standard consultation period for such a consultation document is twelve weeks. After this time consideration on submitted evidence will take place, any final published guidance will be released at some point thereafter.

At that point schools will also be provided with adequate time to implement any changes. This is in line with its commitment to review the guidance every three years.

At the point of publication we will support schools with any considerations in line with the new guidance. Until then the current guidance remains in place.

The PSHE association published this statement on 15th May: Publication of draft updated RSHE guidance for consultation (pshe-association.org.uk)
