National Obesity Awareness Week
Published: 2025-01-10

National Obesity Awareness Week is organised on behalf of the National Obesity Forum, a charity of healthcare professionals committed to raising awareness of obesity and providing education and training on obesity management. National Obesity Awareness Week takes place in the UK between the 10th and 16th January each year. Obesity affects more and more children, adults, and even pets in the UK each year. By 2050, 50% of the population could be obese. National Obesity Awareness Week aims to demystify obesity and encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles by eating well, staying fit and losing weight.
