Time to Talk Day

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Every year, friends, families, communities and workplaces come together to talk, listen and change lives. Time to Talk Day was launched in 2014 by Time to Change, a campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination.

Links to activities and resources: Talking Mental Health is an animation and accompanying teacher toolkit designed to help begin conversations about mental health in the classroom and beyond. The resource, which is suitable for upper KS2 children, includes a lesson plan, an assembly PowerPoint with an accompanying plan, a booklet on tips for talking for parents and carers plus various resources and classroom exercises.
