World Thinking Day
Published: 2025-02-22

World Thinking Day has been celebrated by Girl Guides and Girl Scouts across the world since 1926. It is observed as a day of international friendship and is an opportunity to speak out on issues that affect girls and young women. World Thinking Day remains one of the most important dates in the guiding calendar, and every year the theme of the event encourages members to think about the big issues affecting them and their global community. World Thinking Days have tackled the subjects of poverty, gender inequality, environmental sustainability and access to education.
